This is a full time position that will allow you to travel to many different states and countries! 100% travel is required. Typical job duration's can last from 1 week to as long as several months.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Installation Manager and lead foreman, install various types of shooting range equipment at various locations around the country. Installation of equipment can range from standard targetry ranges to full size steel live fire shoot houses.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Must maintain a drug free lifestyle.

  • Demonstrate strong ability to use and understand construction tools and equipment
  • Experience in carpentry, steel work, and concrete are preferred.
  • Able to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member
  • Must be accurate, detail ­ orientated – with the ability to operate well under pressure
  • Must possess professional interpersonal skills to interact with other team members
  • Ability to exercise prudent and independent judgment, decisiveness, discretion, and creativity

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible to relieve Lead foreman of day to day assembly and installation duties. This includes but not limited to, the completion of applicable work flow, update and chase delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines.
  • Familiar with and able to use various hand tools, power tools, and general construction equipment. Ensure work site is safe through personal work habits, and maintain a team work environment.
  • Travel, bunk with, and work with a small team of installers.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Job involves construction type settings, indoor and/or outdoor work
  • Heavy lifting is required. Person must be able to lift and hold at a minimum of 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
  • Will be required to travel to various job­ sites scattered throughout the county and some international travel as well
  • Work may take place at various military/federal bases, minimal background checks will be assessed

SAFETY HAZARDS OF THE JOB

Employee will be dealing with heavy steel plates, tools, and equipment. Lifting will be required as will repetitious bending, standing, and kneeling. Proper personal protective equipment will be required at all job sites.
